Implantology Year Programme
The Bath Spa Training, Implantology Year Programme has been approved by the Faculty of General Dental Practice (UK) for accreditation towards its Career Pathway. The Career Pathway is a career development framework devised and supported by the FGDP(UK), that aims to support career-long learning and professional development by recognising postgraduate education and training undertaken by practising primary care dentists. To be eligible for formal registration on the Career Pathway you must have a registerable primary dental care qualification and be a member of the FGDP(UK). Please visit the FGDP website

The aim of the course is to bring participants through from initial
treatment planning stages to be able place and restore dental implants
in a variety of situations with a high degree of confidence of success.
Participants will learn the principles of implant placement through
associated lectures, treatment planning cases, practical demonstrations
and live surgical procedures as well as patient management.
Delegates will be encouraged to bring along their own patient cases
for discussion throughout the course and there will be opportunities
throughout the course and after the programme to visit the practice
to view additional procedures.
The Year Programme is for a maximum of 8 delegates and the course fee is £4,500 for the entire course (Discounted to £4,250 if paid in full before the course starts - otherwise a deposit of £500 is required and the remaining payments made throughout the programme).
Protective gowns, masks, gloves, hats and shoe covers are provided,
along with refreshments and a buffet lunch for all delegates on each
of the days.
Prior booking is essential as the previous course became fully booked
months before the start and we expect this to happen again.
There are very limited spaces available for the Cohort 4 programme, commencing March 2012, (dates as below). Once the course has commenced, you are unable to join part-way through the programme. Bookings are now open for Cohort 5 (2013) and Cohort 6 (2014). Please email Angela to reserve your place.
